Good eveningEarlier this morning I finally got fed up with my copy of Windows being deactivated after a hardware change so I went, got an installation again and after some frustration I managed to activate it. So far, so good. However, I could not keep my old programs intact and I'm now left without Office, most importantly Outlook which helped me keep all my passwords and registrations and I need to check for work reasons. I can see that the computer has Office installed in a folder called 'Windows.old' but moving it out hasn't helped. I can't rmember where I put my Office discs and I should check my emails tomorrow so I'm a bit at a loss.Is there any way to recover Office from my old installation without reinstalling everything?Thank you very much, I appreciate it.

Then give a try to Outlook.com backup Tool – one of the best Hotmail.com backup tool that enables users to export emails from Outlook.live.com to external Hard Drives locally. The tool supports to save email from Outlook.com user account to PST, PDF, MBOX, MSG, EML, EMLX, HTML and MHTML formats.

Moving a.pst file from one computer to another doesn't transfer your email account settings. If you need to set up Outlook on a new computer, copy your.pst file from the old computer, then set up your email account on your new computer.

You can then open the.pst file from the new computer. The location of your.pst file depends on your version of Outlook, your version of Windows, and how you set up your account or created the.pst file.
